28th International Conference on Sexual Plant Reproduction

We are delighted to announce that the 28th International Conference on Sexual Plant Reproduction (ICSPR) will be held in Chengdu, China, in July/August, 2026 (date to be determined).

This conference will focus on the following topics:

  1. Evolution and Ecology
  2. Sex Determination and Sex Chromosomes
  3. Germline Development
  4. Gametophytic, Seed, and Sporophytic Development
  5. Pollen-Pistil Interactions
  6. Domestication and Breeding

Chengdu, hailed as the "Land of Abundance", is a captivating metropolis where 2300-year-old cultural heritage harmonizes with cutting-edge modernity. Nestled in the fertile Chengdu Plain, this UNESCO City of Gastronomy enchants visitors with mist-shrouded mountains framing skyscrapers, where pandas munch bamboo beneath snow-capped peaks are visible from downtown. Holding 28th ICSPR in Chengdu will provide an excellent opportunity to combine cutting-edge science with a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
