IASPRR Medals

Young Scientist Presentation Awards:

The board decided to grant three awards at this congress to junior scientists. One award was given for the best presentation and two awards for the best posters. The awards were presented on behalf of the award committee by President Scott Russell, 8 August 2008.

H.F. Linskens Award for Best Presentation:

• Tomokazu Kawashima, Department of Molecular, Cell and Developmental Biology and Biotechnology, University of California, Los Angeles, CA USA for his presentation: "Cis-regulatory sequences responsible for suspensor-specific transcription," co-authors Xing-Jun Wang, Yuping Bi, Koen Weterings, and Robert B. M.T.M. Willemse Award for Best Poster: (alphabetical)
